Painting Quilt

Protection Township Library Barn Quilt Painting Class

On February 20, 2022, Protection Township Library had a Barn Quilt Painting class. The class was so successful that the library will repeat the class on May 7th, 2022, to prepare for Mother’s Day. The painting class offered a variety of barn quilt designs as well as sizes. It was a great event to bring together new and old friends.

Plains New Program

The Plains Library is now offering the program 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.  Plains has a local community partner that is providing all families that sign up their littles with a free book, snacks, and a chance and winning their own reading chair.  Throughout the program, they have put up a photo booth wall.  At every 100 books, they have signs for the kids to hold up to show their progress.  Then they will add them to our photo wall.  Plains Library has done a soft launch and have 11 kids already signed up.  As they go along they will win free books and at the end, we will give them a custom t-shirt and a completion certificate.  Plains Library already have one kiddo that is really rocking the program. Well done Plains Library!!

Parents’ permission to share.

Kalli loves crafting, reading, spending time with my kids and ALL my animals. She is a part of the Economic Development Board and she helps with several community groups. She is honored to be a part of the Hanston City Library and is excited to visit with all the people that come into Haston City Library.
