StoryWalk
Collection
Policy Statement
The Southwest Kansas Library System (SWKLS) curates a collection of StoryWalk® kits to provide resources to libraries with the means to display these types of visual materials. Buying and processing a StoryWalk® is expensive and time-consuming. By supplying these kits, SWKLS is providing an essential service to meet the information needs of the community.
Definition
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson. Additional information can be found at: LetsMoveLibraries.org . A StoryWalk® display will vary from location to location, either outdoors or indoors. The method of display is a local decision, made by each library.
Accessibility
Our collection is available for ILL by any KLE courier library. To access available titles within the collection, use this phrase as a subject search in ShareIt: SWKLS StoryWalk Collection. To order an ILL, we recommend that a library submits a blank ILL request.
