StoryWalkⓇ Checkout Procedures
The Southwest Kansas Library System (SWKLS) curates a collection of StoryWalkⓇ kits to provide resources to libraries in order to meet the information needs of the community. The StoryWalkⓇ Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalkⓇ is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson. Additional information can be found at: LetsMoveLibraries.org. A StoryWalkⓇ display will vary from location to location, either outdoors or indoors. The method of display is a local decision made by each library.
StoryWalkⓇ Loan Period: 30 days.
Checkout Requirements: Must be a library that utilizes the KLE courier service.
Extensions: Extensions are not guaranteed and are subject to demand. In the event an extension is granted, it will be for an additional 30-day period.
Care Requirements: Must display each StoryWalkⓇ in its entirety to be in compliance with copyright laws. Please follow the Responsibilities of the Requesting Library as outlined in the Interlibrary Loan Code for the United States when borrowing a StoryWalkⓇ .
Procedure for Requesting: Our collection is available for ILL by any KLE library. To access available titles within the collection, use this phrase as a subject search in SHAREit: “SWKLS StoryWalk Collection.”
