WOW! If they spent half as much time on a real job!!! They would do well!!!
I learned a lot of things to look for and be aware of! THANKS!
Great lesson for everyone at work to watch!!!!
They (cyber criminals) certainly do spend a LOT of time figuring out how to dupe us, don’t they? I learned a lot, too! 🙂
1. I learned that criminals are smarter than we like to think they are.
2. The phishing scam(s) get better all the time.
3. It is a good reminder that they are working as hard to breach our accounts as we are trying to protect our accounts.
These hackers and phishers really do need to get a real job. I think of all the good they could do for the world if they would just be honest. They are so super smart and they need to be putting their skills to good use for everyone.
Yes! They could be rich if they just put their skills to good use!!!!
I was thinking the same thing Millie; if these hackers could put this much effort into something good instead of bad, lots of problems could be solved!
I was once told by my credit card company (when they noticed a transaction on my account that looked suspicious) that crooks even have lottery-type devices that run numbers all day long, day in and day out, til it ‘hits’ on a legit credit card number that will work, then they charge small increments so you don’t notice at first..
1. I learned several ways to determine whether an email is phishing or legitimate. After taking the quiz, I was surprised at how tricky it can be!
2. Yes, I do.
3. It will help us to be more vigilant when it comes to phishing emails, which will save our institution a lot of information breaches, in the long run.

1. I learned a lot. I want to thank our techs for making sure we are safe in using our technology. There are so many ways for criminals to try and get your information. We all need to be aware and if you get a feeling something is not right , check it out. A friend kept getting texts messages from the IRS wanting her to call them and have her SSn ready with a Credit card to pay back taxes. NOT! after several times of not answering them they quit. and moved on to someone else. The IRS will never call you, they will send a letter.
2. The Bonus Phishing Lesson was the best. All staff member will be watching that one. Great information!
3. It will help us be more aware that there are criminals out there trying to get your information. I have posted some tips around the library to help patrons and co-workers as to what to look for. I really think the emails are the worst. but now it has moved over to the texting. We just need to be on guard at all times.
4. I took the Security Awareness Training Quiz, the first time and got 8/10 the second time I took it I got 10/10. I think this will be used for a staff training soon.
I totally agree with Tammy! THANK YOU to Steve, Janelle and Bernardo for all they do for us!!!! This phishing lesson was definitely a good one!!
Ditto!!!
I was actually more cautious than I needed to be with the quiz, but I’d rather be safe than sorry!!!
So much information! I was surprised at how big of a problem this actually is and sadly it’s only getting worse.
Wow! I learned a lot from this extra credit! Missed three on the quiz, a couple of the questions could have gone either way and I chose the safer way! I think I will encourage all staff do Thing 6 and the phishing extra.
I missed two and thought I was a failure! Lol! THE EMAILS CAN SEEM SO LEGIT!!!!
Just did the phishing extra. When I created my “account” I guess I didn’t understand the directions correctly. From the way I understood the directions the blue links wouldn’t actually work. So, I oopsed on a couple of questions. But, I know I am very cautious about opening things. I just need to work with my husband on that.
1. I learned “smishing” and “vishing,” as silly as they sound are actually very serious matters to watch out for as well!
2. I do feel like I will be more aware and skeptical of what comes into my inboxes! Check before you click!
3. The information is very important to share as you can never be too careful in today’s day in age! Scammers are getting smarter all the time!
